Una maestría es un grado académico otorgado a individuos que denotan con éxito un mayor nivel de experiencia. Hay dos tipos principales de Maestros - se imparten y la investigación.

Al estudiar Biología y Ciencias de la Vida, los estudiantes aprenden distintas características de las ciencias naturales. Según el área de enfoque, los estudiantes pueden estudiar el cuerpo humano, biología vegetal o ciencias de los animales, para poder ayudar en problemas del mundo real.

Japón tiene uno de los sistemas de educación superior altamente integrados en Asia. Japans acercan a la ciencia y la tecnología es muy valorado por lo tanto sus niveles de educación muy estructuradas desde la infancia a la educación primaria hasta la secundaria hasta la superior. Con 126 millones de personas que viven en Japón tiene un ambiente rico cultural. Área metropolitana de Tokio es el área metropolitana más grande en el mundo, con más de 30 millones de habitantes.

Nuestro laboratorio investiga los mecanismos reguladores del tráfico de células inmunes (adhesión y migración). Las integrinas de las moléculas de adhesión juegan un papel importante en la localización de los linfocitos en los órganos linfoides periféricos y la migración de los leucocitos a través del endotelio inflamado y las interacciones adhesivas con las células presentadoras de antígenos. Identificamos la pequeña GTPasa Rap1 como un regulador crucial de la unión y migración celular dependiente de la integrina durante estos procesos. Aclaramos aún más la Pathway señalización Rap1 a las integrinas, cuya regulación anormal condujo a una ruptura de la auto-tolerancia debido a selecciones de timocitos dañadas y al desarrollo y funciones de las células T reguladoras. En combinación con modelos de ratones de enfermedades inmunes, estamos desarrollando varios métodos de obtención de imágenes de tejidos y aplicando estrategias terapéuticas de enfermedades inmunes intratables mediante el control de la adhesión de las células inmunitarias. -

The Graduate School of Agriculture focuses on nurturing talented individuals who are able to adapt to the demands of a rapidly changing environment and contribute widely to society. Building upon the broad-based foundation of the faculty’s undergraduate program, the Graduate School re-organized its education programs into a systematic structure encompassing the broad areas of subtropical agriculture and began offering one integrated course in Subtropical Agriculture from 2011. The aim of this reorganization is to build professional skills in students for the development of high quality researchers and engineers capable of researching creatively into stable bio-production and sustainable uses of biomaterials, in addition to consolidating students’ knowledge concerning agriculture and honing their ability to resolve agricultural issues faced by subtropical regions such as Okinawa. The Graduate School’s curriculum consists of systematic courses of core educational subjects, specialized subjects and applied expansive subjects. Core education subjects promote advanced knowledge necessary for flexible thinking and deep insight, while specialized and expansive subjects spanning four specialized courses nurture problem-solving ability for the resolution of agricultural issues facing the region. In addition to experiential education programs that focus on education and research concerning food, agriculture, environment and resources, while developing advanced specialist knowledge and technology crucial towards the development of tropical and subtropical regions in Asia and the Pacific, the Graduate School also provides other wide-ranging education programs that equip students with sufficient knowledge to work in highly specialized and professional positions. -

In the Food Science & Nutrition Program, we aim to nurture talented students who acquire the latest, high level of specialist knowledge in the fields of nutrition and food science, and deepen their knowledge by carrying out their own research, so that they can make a contribution to society by working as specialists and advising people how to maintain their health through eating healthily. Food and health are subjects that we should study for the whole of our life.
